Content: Science:
TEK: 2.8A measure, record and graph weather information, including temperature, wind conditions, precipitation, and cloud coverage, in order to identify patterns in the data.

I will use Keynote with my pullout GT kids in the beginning of the school year when weather is taught in science.  The students will create slides that will show their measurement, recording and use of graphs to tell about the weather in a location of their choice.  They will also describe the appropriate clothing, transportation and activities that relate to the weather that day.  This will be a great tool for them to be a meteorologist and present their findings using Keynote.

The kids will save their files as a ppt file where i will be able to grade and evaluate their learning.  They will also present their work to other GT pullout kids as well. I think having multiple ways to save their work will be good because different teachers prefer different ways.
