Thing 13

1. How has your thinking been transformed about the integration of iPads into the curriculum? What surprised you about this process?

I liked using the iPads and it was very user friendly, for the most part. It's just me getting more comfortable in using the different tools before introducing it to the kids.  It's very easy to integrate a production tool into any content area.  It's quick and easy.  The thing that surprised me the most was how easy most of the tools are like garage band or iMovie.

2. What are your favorite tools, features, and/or apps which you learned about during this professional development?

I really enjoyed using iMovie, Keynote, Padlet the most. I will be using them more in the next school year.  I like that the kids can take photo's and then crop it and use them as real world examples in their projects.

3. What was your biggest “aha” moment during this training?

My biggest "aha" was how easy it is to integrate it into content.  You can use it for anything!  Even kids can take notes when researching.  the iPad is going to come in handy alot with the kids.  I cannot wait to use it more next school year.
